The internet today is largely built around content for individual consumption. Ideas‑Shared is built around ambitions for collective action. Billions of people can now publish content, consume information and react to what others share. But reactions alone rarely change the conditions affecting our lives. Ideas‑Shared provides the missing infrastructure for people to organise around what matters, coordinate voluntary participation and work together until meaningful outcomes are achieved.
The opportunity isn’t simply to give people more information. The internet already provides almost unlimited access to information, ideas and opinions. The real opportunity is to improve humanity’s ability to act together on what matters to individuals, informal groups, organisations and societies. We believe that capability has the potential to unlock extraordinary personal, professional and societal progress.
To make that possible, we developed the Ambition OS – a combination of practical tools and an intelligent collaboration methodology designed to transform ambitions into improved conditions and meaningful outcomes.
What You’ll Be Doing
On Ideas‑Shared, you choose how you want to participate – through the open Global Hub or within a dedicated, secure Private Hub.
You begin by identifying a condition you want to improve and registering the ambition that follows from it. You then turn that ambition into activities, invite others to participate, build the required delivery capability, organise tasks and work towards meaningful outcomes.
The approach is clear – challenge assumptions, make others aware, stop what needs stopping, and co-create new realities.
Depending on the ambition, participation might involve one or two people, an informal group, an organisation, or people drawn from different communities, professions and sectors. The Ambition OS provides the common methodology and practical tools needed to help everyone organise effectively around the outcome.
You remain in control. You choose what you want to improve, how you want to participate, who you want to work with and what outcome you want to achieve. There are no advertisements, no algorithms deciding what deserves attention and no gatekeepers controlling which ambitions can be progressed.
It is a complete, repeatable way to turn ambition into organised activity, coordinated delivery and improved conditions.
Our Products
Ideas‑Shared Global delivers the Ambition OS through two complementary operating environments. Each supports a different form of participation while using the same underlying methodology.

Founded and architected by Bob Thompson, procurement transformation specialist, systems architect and creator of the Ambition OS.
Co-founded with Ivar Ingimarsson – former professional footballer and entrepreneur who understands that execution and teamwork beat raw talent alone.
