How to Begin Using the Ideas-Shared Global Platform
Getting started is simple.
Ideas-Shared is designed so individuals, informal groups, and organisations can enter the platform quickly, understand how it works, and begin exploring at their own pace.
All new members begin with a free trial.
Step 1 – Create Your Account
All new participants begin with a free 14-day trial.
To join:
Choose a username you will remember
Use your real first and last name
Submit the sign-up form
You will enter the Members Area immediately
Each person requires their own username, including members of multi-seat organisational accounts.
The free trial provides full access to explore the platform and see how it works in practice.
Step 2 – Select Your Account Type
Once inside the Members Area:
Go to Profile → Edit → Account Information → Account Type
Select the option that best represents how you want to participate:
Individual
Group or club
Business or organisation
Non-profit
Public sector or government
Additional profile fields may appear depending on your selection.
Completing these helps others understand how you wish to engage and collaborate.
Step 3 – Explore and Participate
During your free trial you can:
Explore existing ambitions and initiatives
Connect with other participants
Join activities that interest you
Create your own listings when ready
Learn how the structure works in practice
You can move at your own pace.
Some people explore first.
Others begin participating immediately.
Both approaches are valid.
Step 4 – Continue After Your Trial
Free trial accounts include one default user seat.
After the trial you can choose to:
Continue with a single free participation account
Upgrade to a paid account to create and manage your own listings
Add additional seats for teams or organisations
Multi-seat accounts allow you to invite others and collaborate under one structured account.
Upgrading is only required if you wish to post and manage your own activity listings.
Important Notes
Usernames cannot be changed after registration
Each participant requires their own login
You control how and when you participate
You can upgrade, continue, or step back at any time
There is no pressure to act quickly.
The platform is designed for thoughtful, constructive participation.
